Hi, 

I had a colonscopy back in March and I am awaiting a telephone consultation but it's not till August! They mentioned Terminal Ilietus. I havnt had any concerns since, I guess it's just the wait that's bugging me.

Hope your procedure was painless as a lot of people of mentioned severe discomfort. Try not to worry about it, my results took 6 weeks to come through.

Hi, have you had your results yet?

ive just had my follow up with the biopsy results. I have distal colitis, I've no idea what that means yet but it sounds fairly manageable so I'm hugely relieved.

So pleased for you that must be a huge weight lifted from you ! 

I was informed by receptionist that pathology results were in ...... but on a follow up with nurse a few days later was told that they were not back yet ! So still outstanding over a month.. ..been asked to wait 6 wks  total. 

NHS can not chase results as private run company who do the Colonoscopy ( I was unaware of this ) 

So more bloods showed high inflammation....

More bloods booked for next Friday to check further and a Scan tomorrow of my neck as lymph nodes increased in size.... Had a smear test too ? 

Been asked to book to see GP in 3 wks for outcome of all results .....hopfully they are in ?
