I know it's worrying to find something like this, especially at the weekend when there is no one to talk to at your GP's. The good thing is that you've noticed this as soon as it's changed so the medical help you seek will be as quick as it could be. 

Having said all that, it may be something quite innocent so don't jump the gun just yet. Take photos of it each day until you get to speak to your GP (especially if it changes again). Your GP will probably do a telephone appointment and then tell you to email the photos so they can see if it needs referring to a dermatologist. The matter of days it will take to get a decision from your GP & the wait for a dermatology appointment (if it's needed) won't make any difference to what is happening to the mole. 75% of patients referred to dermatology are given a clean bill of health so there is a very good chance it will be fine.

So make the call on Monday morning & meanwhile keep an eye on it. Good luck and please let us know how you get on.
