Hi, 

I'm 26 and very scared. 

I had a biopsy done last week due to having a large 'tumor' on my femur. I've been told it's between 10-14 days for the results. In the meantime I'm thinking about what my consultant said that he is confident it's nothing sinister. Has anyone been told this but then got bad news? I'm just thinking that if hes confident then why do I need a biopsy or am I being silly? 

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I feel so alone
