Lumps

Hello everyone I would like to ask a question I am a 14 year old male and have noticed a lump but have no idea how to bring it up to my parent I live with my mum and dont have a dad and dont know how to have the confercation of going to check out the lump.

I would really appreciate if anyone had an awnser

    I'm sorry to hear that you've found a lump and that you're feeling worried about it. I'm sure that your Mum wouldn't want you to feel that you can't talk to her about things and I know she wouldn't want you to be worried. 

    I don't know where the lump is that you've found but I wonder if you're feeling a bit embarrassed about things. If that's the case then just be honest with your Mum. I'm sure she will do all she can to give you some reassurance and if you need to see a Dr then she can make an appointment. 

    The sooner you chat to your Mum, the sooner you will be able to get some answers and you'll stop being anxious about this lump. Go and have a chat with her now :wink:

    Hello Randomname,

    A very warm welcome to our forum. I totally agree with all that our moderator Jenn has said. As a mum myself, I would feel that I had let my son down if he couldn't approach me with any problem he had, no matter how embarrassing it might seem to him. Remember that she has known all of you since the day you ere born. There's no part of your body that she hasn't seen or will feel embarrassed about and, I'm sure that, like me, she will want to help you all she can. 

    Please do go and tell her how worried you feel and between you, you will get this sorted and put your mind to rest.
