Grade 4 Glioma Diagnosis

Finding it so difficult to come to terms with. I'm a 25 year old mum with two girls under 2 years old. I just want them to grow up with a mummy.

  • Hello CharlotteLK

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently been diagnosed with glioma. It's obviously an incredibly difficult time and understandable that you're struggling to process this news. I hope that you have a good support network of family and friends around you.

I'm not sure that we have any members here living with a glioma but I wanted to signpost you to The Brain Tumour Charity where I know you'll be able to connect with others who have the same diagnosis and may be in similar circumstances to you. They have a number of different support options which can read more about here

You're most welcome to give our team of nurses a call if you'd like to talk things through with someone. I know that they will be happy to listen and do their best to give you some information and support. They're available Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.

I hope this helps. Keep in touch Charlotte and let us know how you're getting on.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi Jenn

Thank you so much for getting in touch with support options.

It was still really fresh news and I was desperate for some words of hope or encouragement.

Everyone's journey is different, I just need to take it one step at a time.

    Again, thank you so much.

    Best wishes

    Charlotte
