Waiting on results

Hi im new today to this forum .im waiting on my biospy results . my doctor has said after the mamagram and ultra sound she is certain it's cancer just waiting on finding out exactly what the stage is an treatment .im so scared worried I've only just lost my dad to lung cancer so all this  has fetched such bad memories i don't  really no much  about breast cancer so I've been on Google and frightened myself even more .im a single mum with 2 girls and lay awake worrying and fearing the worse .

    Good Morning, 

    I am so sorry to hear about your news, I am still awaiting my biopsy results after 4 weeks and it can be a very anxious time. Is there anyone close to you that you can trust to talk this through with? 

    Try and distract your mind by focusing on your kids and getting outside really helps to clear your mind. 

    There is a lot of supportive people on this forum and you can ring a helpline to talk to an experience Cancer Nurse about your worries. 

    I know you will remain strong.

    I cant tell my mum at minute cos we only lst my dad in January. But I have support from a friend an my manager at work an few work colleagues that I've told have been lovley its just news you don't ever want to hear .I hope you get to hear something soon 4 weeks is a very long time to wait
