Getting frustrated, still waiting for my 2 week referral

Sorry to be a moan, but just need to vent some frustration. I am still waiting for my 2 week breast cancer referral, 4 weeks on. I have tried to be patient but it's wearing thin now. I have chased this up twice already, and spoken to my surgery who said they would also try to chase it up for me. I have tried ringing the appointment department several times this morning but just keep getting the..'all our lines are busy' ..message. I can't even log in to the referrals site as I just keep getting a message to say I can't log in with the details they sent me to log in with :angry:

when I did get through to appointments last week they couldn't even give me any idea when I might be seen. It was just...'it will be a few weeks'  I could almost see the shrug of shoulders.

I know things are difficult just now and I should be patient, but I'm not a patient person by nature so this is starting to drive me crazy!

    No need to be sorry, it's part of what the forum is here for - a place to have a vent every now and then. I can completely understand your frustrations, especially if you should have been expecting news within two weeks. It's the not knowing that's difficult. There's not too much I can suggest other than to keep doing what you're doing - chasing it up where you feel like doing so, or otherwise trying to keep your mind off it by distracting yourself and keeping busy.
