Hi Chris,
A very warm welcome to our forum. I suspect that a number of us would confess to occasional pain in our breasts from time to time. This can be simply due to our hormones, lifting something heavy or as a result of previous surgery. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 11 years. I had pain for 4 months at the end of 2020 and had further tests, but I'm pleased to say that all still looks clear.
Pain seldom accompanies breast cancer, but it is always worth checking out any changes in your breasts. Please make an appointment with your GP, even if only for your own peace of mind.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. we are always here for you.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi
Thank you soo much, I have contacted my GP and we are monitoring the pain, which as you they feel it is likely to be muscular.

Hi Chris,
I am glad to hear that you have already managed to chat to your GP and that you are monitoring your pain. Don't be afraid to contact. I had been told that it was most unlikely for my type of cancer to recur and had to insist on being see at the breast clinic again - I'm so glad that I did, when I got a second diagnosis of a new breast cancer.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.
I hope that the pain settles down for you soon.
Kind regards,
Jolamine xx
Hi Chris,
i'm in almost the same situation as you - I'm 5 years post diagnosis and have started getting pain around the scar tissue from where I had a lumpectomy. Only two weeks ago though I had my annual mammogram and ultrasound and everything looked fine. It was actually quite painful where she was pressing when doing the ultrasound and I commented on this and she just said it was the scar tissue, she didn't seem concerned. I'm wondering if this new pain may be the nerve endings still repairing as the area has still been pretty numb.
Hope this helps to put your mind at rest a bit?
