Hello all

I'm writing as I'm not wanting to discuss with family until I've seen specialist but feeling tad anxious.

Months back I felt there was a change in one of my breasts...just felt different on top hard. So I kept an eye on and tried to see if there we differences in feeling with my cycle as I was also experiencing breast pain.

In resent months the pain has got worst and in this one breast and in one specific area. If my 6 year old knock me (when playing or even a tight hug) its soooo painful.

I booked a dr appointment and on day of appointment found a small lump in the same area...my doctor felt it to.

I've just been booked an appointment at the breast clinic....typically the day we are due to get on a ferry to the Isle of White! 

Would you postpone ferry? I'm inclined to as just want to put my mind at rest (what ever the results)

I've also just noticed a small red mark on breast near the pain/lump area....does any of this fit with anyone else's experience 

I'm hopeful it's an age thing (42) or some type of infection
