Hey I found out I was hov positive last January and was supposed to go back again this January but kinda a bit scared. I'm 28 with 2 children and a tad scared x
I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling anxious about attending your cervical screening appointment after having a HPV-positive result last year.
Is there something in particular that you're anxious or worried about? About 9 in 10 people get rid of HPV within 2 years, without it causing any problems. This includes high-risk HPV that is linked to cancer. So it's very likely that your screening result may result in you not needing any further appointments but it is important to get these things checked.
