I'm sorry to hear your liver tests were not good and it's not clear when you'll have your scan. I was told by my GP to go to A&E for urgent tests and they did some, but failed to recognise a serious health issue and recommend that I wait for the scan to happen. My health then deteriorated and I had jaundice and I had to go to A&E second time after about 2 weeks and that's when they actually kept me in and did the scans really quickly. ( I was then diagnosed with a bile duct cancer) I think it really depends on your other symptoms and general health. If you are really unwell and have lots of really worrying symptoms, for example jaundice or weight loss, I'd go to A&E.
