Breast lump

Hi 

I'm 38 and really worried about a breast lump i have found a few days ago 

Its hard about 2 cm but smooth it doesn't move 

The only good thing is its smooth so I keep wanting to tell myself its a cyst but the other factors are worrying so I'm just in an anxious mess atm .. 

Have my appointment on the 30th but wish my mum could be there

    Hello, 

    just wanted to stop by and say you are not alone. I am 30 and a week ago I found a pea size smooth, hard (and unsure if moveable) lump under my areolA. When I first felt it, it seemed deep and now it's at the surface which is odd. I'm hoping like you that it is just a small cyst. 
     

    your appointment, is it first appointment with your GP? Or have you already seen them! I have a phone appointment next Friday, trying so hard not to worry about it. 
     

    it hard to have to go to appointments alone, maybe call them and ask if there is any chance you could bring someone along with you as you are really Worried?

    Hi sorry to hear your in the same boat 

    I saw the gp two days ago then yesterday I got a call with an appointment to the breast clinic 

    I am amazed how quick its all happening 

    Hope yours is quick too hunny its a scary waiting game 

    My mum will have to look after my toddler anyways but wish she could be there I really am worried x

    Oh wow I am glad you got an appointment with the breast clinic so quickly, not too long to wait, try and keep yourself occupied between now and then. Take it from me who suffers with anxiety, don't let it rule your life, it's not nice. 

    i went to the breast clinic 4 years ago for my other breast and thankfully it was just a fibroadenoma, so I'm hoping something non sinister this time too!

    Wow me too 10 years ago I had a fibroadenoma !! 

    Hopefully you will be seen quickly too im just hoping we both just have a common cyst my lump is beside / below my areola on the right side 

    It is bound to make anyone worry but like you I get overly anxious

    Oh really! How similar we really are! 
     

    mines on the right too, it's under the areola next to the nipple, I had that nipple pierced in august last year and haven't felt any changes after having it done but I know a piercing can cause an abscess so I'm hoping that lol. It's only pea size.
