Hi I had breast cancer 10 years ago and had a lumpectomy,my breast has now changed shape it's inflamed and my skin feels hard I also feel like my ribs are inflamed and tender,any suggestions
Once you have had breast cancer and been treated with primary hormonal therapy in the form of letrozole or tamoxifen. You should have 2 yearly bone scans. (Assuming you are?) I'd definitely contact your local breast surgeon or breast care nurse.
im a secretary to a breast consultant so relate with some of my patients. It could be down to breast changes especially if you had radiotherapy but it's always best to get any changes checked if you have had previously history.
