Hi,
I had the displeasure of catching Covid back in December last year which has left me with blood clots in both lungs along with many Long Covid symptoms such as restless legs, muscle aches, chest pain and even piles which I'm blaming Covid for due to all of the tablets I'm now having to take!
For the last couple of months I have had a niggle in my neck, there hasn't been any pain so was hard to explain to the doctor over the phone but your body always knows. I've been putting it down to returning to work at looking at computer screens after a month of rest from Covid. Even the inflatable bed I was sleeping on got a blame, that was until one day I felt a lump in my neck that only rears it ugly head when I turn my head to one side. I have no idea how long it's been there, the doctor today has referred me for an ultrasound and the waiting game has started to when I will get my appointment.
I too like many people has made the terrible mistake of looking at Google at what it can be and have terrified myself. Before Covid I was very fortunate to have not suffered any real kind of health issues, now at 32 years old my days consist of blood thinners, compression socks, anxiety meds and acid reflux to name a few. Now all I can think about is has Covid awaken cancer inside me whilst I wait for the phone to ring! I am very thankful that I survived Covid when so many havent but its times like this where I feel I've gone 20 steps back
