Found a large lump in my breast 4weeks ago thought it was a swelling due to Covid jab . Went to breast clinic this week lovely people had a biopsy in 4places ,have slight pain but I feel very tired . I'm 71
Yes, many of us do feel tired and certainly out of sorts. There are so many unknowns in the early days of diagnosis that we don't alwys realise how much shock we are in. It is not at all unusual for our emotions to be all over the place and, to have copious tears. Don't try to stem them the tears if you have them, as they'e a good way of reducing pent up emotions.
Most of us begin to feel better once we have a treatment plan in place and start to fight this unwelcome intruder. The amount of fatigue can vary from person to person as does the length of time it persists. Mine lasted for quite a few years and has never gone back to how I was prior to diagnosis. Being older this might have happened anyway who knows?
