Hello, 

I have had an inflamed cervix and unusual bleeding for about 1 year and painful with intercourse. I went to my GP who obviously done a check and referred me to the hospital, they done a early smear and took a biopsy and put silver nitrate on the cervix to stop the bleeding. I got the smear results back as abnormal cells and to repeat in 1 years time. After 6 months it is still given me grief so i went back to the gp as she stated it was really inflamed still. They referred me to a gynecologist who did more checks and swabs abd all clear. He said it didnt look inflamed at that time. He has sent me for a scan to see if i have endometriosis. How ever i have been checked for this 2 years ago due to chronic UTI's abd other tests i have had. I have just had my recent smear yesterday and obviously again it was really painful and i bled. The nurse said i would as it looks sore. Has anyone had experience with this as i feel no one knows whats going on or i am not getting anywhere?
