Advice - supporting newly diagnosed friend

My best friends has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. How can I help her? I feel helpless.

    My Mum has the same. You give HOPE, and you give LOVE and you give SUPPORT - and this is basically the essence of all a human needs to carry on if they choose to. My Mum was inches from death due to an infection during her stage 4 lung cancer diganosis but we all pushed her to fight (because she wanted to!) and she it out the other side, gained weight and doing well abeit short term.
