Lump in mouth

Hi, I thought I'd post here to see if anyone could help me with a few symptoms I've been having for a number of months now. I have a hard painless lump to the right of my top palate, close to my back teeth. I also have a very inflamed appearance at the very back of my throat and my tonsils are red (without hurting)

a little worried about what this could be, and a bit anxious to get it checked out incase I am wasted people's time as it's not causing any pain

    Even if they're not causing any pain, it's always best to get any changes or symptoms that aren't normal for you checked by a medical professional as they're the only ones who can let you know if this any cause for concern and put your mind at ease. Plus, your worry is unlikely to go away if you don't see someone about this.
