Aggressive cancer

Hello, my Husband passed away almost two months ago. It began last November, he was a keen cyclist but suddenly felt ill and sick until he couldn’t eat. He spent time in hospital with low sodium and was told it might be cancer. We got home home not wanting to believe the worst, he started eating quite well and were hopeful until a week later he declined fast, and after pet scan and hospital appt we know now that it had spread fast. We cared for him at home and palliative care. He was 62, still can’t believe it, he had a lot of pain, so sad missing him.

  • Hi there ...

Just wanted to send a vertual hug as I know too well this year the pain of loss ... it's been a crule 14 months with so many losses to covid and cancer ...

So know your not alone ... lots here are knowing that pain ... when we lost my 18 year old granddaughter to acute myeloid leukaemia a few months ago.... at her goodbye, her mum had one of her favorite songs played " good times" by 'all time low'  it helped us .. it's about holding on to the good memories ... listen to it on u tube if like me, music helps ... Chrissie xx
