I found this forum useful. Checking it is still active,
Age 49 and had a non invasive tumour out, graded between 2 and 3 (listed as 3).
Completed 6 BCG, first 4 a breeze, 5 a little blood, 6 same. I found the effects pretty variable, some nights could sleep through but after 6, not so.
Problem I have is urinary tract ache all the way to the kidneys. I had a bad UTI, which alerted me to the tumour in the first place. Ibruprofen gets rid of this. But by far the best way is keeping active, not easy with an office job. With side ache, going jogging isnt appealing but I find it really works, along with water drinking of course, When I am out and moving, urge to pee far less, even if sipping. Sides and tracts were last to get better after operation too. Did anyone get this?
I had AZ Covd jab and imeediately felt fluey more. Got told off for not waiting till end of BCG course one, 'AZ has produced a lot of side effects' keyworker said. So not sure what role it played,
Nervous about 7,8 and 9, booked for late May 2021 now. I have ache in the scar tissue area of former tumour, which is worse if I sit in some positions, would definitely reccomend a good mattress for this game!
All in all philosphical, prior to Tumour removal I was very sick, surgeon had to put me on a drip as so infected (which they dont like to do), fingers going yellow afer exercise, pevis pain massive, panic attacks.Felt not far form wanting to die.
When it was out it felt glorious. I felt physically great after 5-6 weeks, Lets hope that feeling inspires me for the pain that may be ahead.
