About six months ago i collapsed with stomach cramps and about 3 months after i was diagnosed with crohn,s .A further 3 months went by after blood test ect they started a treatment Azathioprine after 16 days no problems then i had this unimaginable pain in the pancrius area i nearly passed out.

So off to A&E as you would to cut a long story short i was treated but while i was there i was sent for a chest Xray,then once then pain had abaited i was sent home.

Four days later i seen the nurse at the IBD clinic and went through the story and she listened ,and what about the Xray she said well they never said anything about that before i was discharged so all good i assumed no she said ive looked at it there is a shaddow on your left lung.

4 days later im having a C/Tscan at her request 3days after that i get a phone call to come in that day oh and i can bring someone with me well given the covid rules bad new was imminent i thought.

Anyway myself and my wife attended and was met by the nurse and a consultant ok i said give me the bad news ,you have a 2.4cm tumor on your upper left lung i am not an expert in this field but i does not appear to have spread.

By the time i got home the phone rang hi i am suzanne from respiratory should you need to contact me and gives me her number you need an urgent PET scan she said it will be this week and the forllowing Thursday there will be a meeting with the whole team to discuss the results and answer any questions.

Anyway i had my PET scan on saturday just gone and in 2 days i guess i will know what the diagnoses will be .

it has actually been good just to write this down i dont really feel worried but i guess i must be deep down as i am not sleeping that well so thats it . thanks for at least reading  i guess.
