Hodgkin's disease - previous experience and offer of support

I am MisterPee, in 1975 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin disease stage 4 - I found talking to others immensely helpful, I was not alone, I was in a club - without it I would have suffered. In my day the survival rate was 3-4%. 46 years on I am so grateful to all the medics and now it's my turn to offer help and support that will help others. Please let me know if and how I can help

  • Hi MisterPee,

It's good to hear that you were well supported during your experience, and it's very kind of you to post here and offer your support to others going through the same.

I'm sure your post will be useful to others searching the forum in future. I have also changed your post title so that it is a little more informative and will hopefully lead more people to finding it when they are searching or browsing the forum.

    Wishing you all the best,
