My husband has been diagnosed with sarcoma. He has a large lump in the soft tissue near his pelvis and a small nodule on his lung. He has seen the oncologist today but everything was vague we have to wait until Monday for the MDT meet
I am so sorry to hear about your husband's diagnosis. I know that this always comes as a terrible shock and you want to know as much as possible as quickly as you can. It is common practice for your husband's care team to discuss his results and management prior to discussing this with the patient. By the time you meet again, the oncologist should be able to tell you more about treatment, etc, which will have been discussed at the MDT meeting.
