This sounds better than you expected. It is reassuring that it is contained and hasn’t spread elsewhere. No matter how well prepared we think we are, a diagnosis of cancer always comes as a shock. Most of us feel as if we had been hit by a ton of bricks immediately after hearing this. I hope that you are managing to accept this after such a long wait.

This is not the end of the world. You’ve got it. It’s good news that you don’t have long to wait for your surgery. It’s also reassuring that they can do the procedure by keyhole. This should make the operation much easier and should shorten your recuperation time considerably. Did you discuss any possible treatment post-surgery today?

Have had m op keyhole, felt great didnt have much pain the only problem I had was my blood sugars went upto 24 so I was on drip and Insulin. I came home 4 days later I think iy was, taken things easy still on insuline just now as it is going up and down but not as high as it went. I am still waiting on my rinse results to see if there isany free cancer cells or if they managed to get it all.

I am sorry to hear about your Diabetes, but this is not unusual and I hope that it settles down now that you are home. This may take a little time.
