Hi

I'm new to this site, and just want people's advise if possible, I went for a smear last Thursday and why my GP was doing the smear, she said there were some abnormalities, and needed to do swabs, I explained that I had been bleeding since having my implant in and it was painful when having sex, and that I had a pain in my back not all the time just when I moved in certain directions.  I then gets a phone call on Tuesday to say that I needed antibiotics as I had a bacterial infection and also chlamydia (that's another story that I will leave there).  I had a baby 9 months ago so thinking the back pain is from that, but all my signs are that I have, CC, I'm so worried and wish I could hurry the results up so I know I'm only dealing with the STI.  Has anyone else had anything similar or would my GP of said if there was anything wrong with the smear and referred me, she just said I should hear back within 2 weeks , but didn't say it was a referral. 
Am I just over thinking ?
