Pain and itchy underarms and very tender breasts.

Hi, 

I'm 24 and have for a few weeks been experiencing extremely itchy underarms alongside very tender breasts. I woke this morning to loads of pain under my left armpit and top of the breast. I can't feel any lumps just thickness of tissue which is common for me. I'm just quite concerned as I'm not sure it could be related to anything serious. My mam has had breast cancer but it was hormonal not hereditary.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

    I'm sorry to hear you're feeling unwell and worried that your symptoms may indicate you have breast cancer. With this in mind, if you haven't phoned your GP yet perhaps it's a good idea to give them a rind and try to book an appointment as they're the only ones who will be able to tell you if these symptoms are something to worry about.

    that sounds a little similar to me, have you been to the GP? If so, how did it work out?
