Hi everyone. This is my first post and as you can see by the time I cant sleep. Had a phone call from my GP yesterday with abnormal blood film results. Suggestive of inflammation and enlarged spleen. I have to go in this morning for an examination and more blood tests, then an urgent referral to haematology.

This has come out of the blue for me as I went with indigestion type symptoms following a change to my HRT. I do occasionally have some rib pain but associated it with the acid reflux. I have a bit of a medical background which is often not a good thing and my mind is racing.

I have 2 kids at uni a fab husband and thought I had years ahead of me. Just petrified, as you will all have been too. As a family we have been through so much over the years I am not sure I can cope with what is to come. 

Thank you for reading it helps just to write it down. Dont want to burden my family with my darkest thoughts until there is something definite.
