When my mother was in hospital for a number of weeks she towards the end was put on a subcut drip. There was an error in the speed of the drip 1lt was ran through it in 4 hours when it should have been 24 hours. Causing tissue damage as she was heavily medicated she had no idea of this error. Has anyone else experience this error towards the end of a patient's life.
