HPV and abnormal cells

Hello, my last three smear tests (one each year) have been HPV positive and my fourth one after the birth of my daughter was 'abnormal cells', after a coloscopy they wrote to say they would discuss it in a meeting and then I received a letter to say there's nothing to report and smears are now every 3 years.

I was so glad to received the results that everything was ok but I'm a little uncomfortable knowing I'm still HPV positive, had abnormal cells and now have to wait 3 years to be checked again. MY Gp said to just let them know if I have any bleeding between periods or bloating.

should this be kept an eye on?
