Small lump near my left tonsil.

Hi, I am a 17 year old male. I have never drank and smoked and live a healthy lifestyle.  I just noticed a small lump next to my left tonsil. It's painless and I have no symptoms of anything. It's been there for 3/4 months and hasn't changed in size. Its been bugging me recently and is having an affect on my mental health.

whenever I research about it on google, it comes up with cancer and all these things which I'm very worried about.

Can you guys please give me advice regarding my lump issue. Is it serious ? Should I be concerned ?

    I'm sorry about the lump you've found and for the worries it is causing. As this is playing on your mind it would be best to book an appointment with your GP as they are the only ones who can tell you whether this is any cause for concern.

    I know the pandemic is making contact with doctors a tad tricky at the moment, but if you have a look here you can find out to get the most out of your appointment.
