Lung Cancer

Hi I am a 70 year old woman - non smoker - diagnosed with adenocarcinoma at the top of my right lung. Currently having chemotherapy and radiotherapy hopefully with the possibility of surgery to remove any remaining tumour. Has/is anyone been through this with positive results. As I am currently finding it very very difficult to keep feeling positive.

  • My nan had the same at 85, she was a smoker gave up the smoking and shes 97 now dont let it worry you at all, stay positive she had around 3 or so surgeries shes 4'11 and weighs around 6 stone and she was fine she said she didnt even feel anything haha youll be fine dont let it get in the way of anything, try to still get in your daily exercise and try not to overthink it one in two people get cancer its very common and most people do recover stay safe and god bless :)

  • Thank you your reply was just what I needed. I was over thinking it. Will follow your advice. Many thanks.....
