Hi so I've been on cerelle pill since I had my son in 2012 and yesterday morning I started spotting not enough to say it's a propper period only when I wipe (sorry) this is the first time this has happend to me can anyone please shed some light for me... I suffer anxiety and depression and I am currently going through stuff with my daughter please help I'm scared this has never happend since I started taking the pill

    I've been on cerelle for 16 months and have been bleeding for 3 weeks every nine weeks since I started it and can spot in between these times too. This worries me a lot and because I'm only 21 I can't get a smear test and the doctor keep telling me it's just the pill. However, it is common to have a break through bleed on the mini pill and if you're stressed out about your daughter maybe this has brought it on? If you're concerned you should speak to your gp xx

    Welcome to the forum. I am so sorry to hear about your worry. I agree with Bec. The only way to be sure that this is nothing untoward is to have a chat with your GP.
