                         l think that like myself you like to associate positivity with the attributes of never becoming tired,l wish!.Like yourself l managed to cope with my first op well,but the following one tested my resolve,with the following chemo doing its utmost top destroy it.

                                                                                                       l felt washed out for a good few years,and although l battled on, it came with its companion, Complete Exhaustion. My cut off point from effort was at the point of collapse,when l accepted the need to rest before getting up and starting ouit again, my working day resulted in some crazy timekeeping, but luckily l was the creator of my own employement

                                                                                                                                         l think you appear to be doing well,and if you keep moving quietly forward, your patience will be rewarded,

I am so sorry to hear that you are feeling like this. This is not unusual, you have had two big operations in quick succession and it is still early days. 

I had breast cancer andalso had two operations close together. The second left me like Gruntifen - absolutely and totally exhausted and it took many years to overcome this. Like Gruntifen, I just had to give into these spells.

Don't be so hard on yourself, takes things slowly and you will get there in the end.

Thank you Jolamine, I really appreciate you replying to my message, I'm waiting to find out if I need chemotherapy and then I need 1 more operation to have my ileostomy reversed, I will try and stay strong. X

Hi everyone 

I am due to start Tamoxifen in liquid form and wondered if anyone had any experience of it. I've heard some horror stories about Tamoxifen in all forms and also women that haven't been affected at all. I guess the easiest way to find out is to take it. I also start radiation on the 2nd September which I'm not worried about at all.
