GBM4

I was diagnosed with GBM4 in July 2019 after suffering a seizure at home at the age of 57 I thought I was having a stroke initially as I had no indication as I felt fine. It was in the hospital that we were told they believed I had a tumour and would book me in for a CT and MRI.

Second hospital thought it was a abcess at first but after a week of antibiotics a biopsy revealed a tumour 2cm in size on the left hand side of my brain.

One week later I had the whole tumour  removed, and was due to go home the next day, unfortunately I had a heart attack that same night. I spent three weeks in hospital before going home and have had a regular MRI scans and it is stable no change.

I know everyone is different but since my operation apart from occasional headaches I feel good. I do exercise and yoga to help myself and the family are amazing and I love them all for there support.
