Hello to anyone reading this.
I'm reaching out for some support, my mum just told me today that she has Myelomonocytic leukaemia, I'm a 49 year old man, but on hearing the news I have done nothing but sob like a child. She's told me that it's incurable and having done my own research I see that she might only have a couple of years left.
I live in Dundee, Scotland and the rest of my family live in North Yorkshire. With Covid happening I haven't seen very much of my family, in fact its nearly over a year ago. Me and my mum are really close, we are very similar in character and in humour, which is great because she's a wonderful person.
I'm just looking for someone to talk to, my mum hasn't got much information back from the doctors so she really is in the dark about it all.
I would love to hear back from like minded people, I really don't know what to write here as I have never reached out to anyone like this before.
Thank you in advance
