Hello!

I just wanted to join as I've gone from diagnosis to surgery very quickly and whilst that's fantastic my head is now swimming with all that's happened in just four weeks. I was diagnosed mid November with stage 1 breast cancer (right) due to family history I opted for double mastectomy with reconstruction which took place just a week ago. I'm so grateful to the team and whilst sore and feeling all a little strange I'm here, drains are gone (today) and I'm looking to move forwards. Hoping to get out for a gentle walk this weekend as I'm not good at being cooped up!
