See your GP, sounds like a trapped nerve sort of pain to me. You can get numbness and tingling with it too.

Maybe you could get them to send you for a scan to rule out a tumour and stop the worry. x

I thought it could be a trapped nerve although I had the numb patch for 6 weeks now and the pain has come on in the last couple of weeks I have talked to the gp on the phone and she said she can't get a scan which makes me worry about how I'm going to get out of this worry

I  am 16 and know exactly how you feel - I get so anxious when anything is wrong with my body but I just wanted to reassure you and say that there are probably lots of other things it could be and that when you get anxious it can often make the pain much worse! Keep sharing your worries though because that always helps me xx

Maybe nexy time it's quite bad turn up at A&E, they will scan you.

I know they are busy right now but this needs sorting or the worry will make you ill.

I did also suggest this to my mum but she said that as the chiropractor managed to sort it it isn't anything to worry about 

How is your pain now?

You could ask to speak to a different GP. 

If it gets really bad I would get a second opinion, not because I think it's something bad but because you need the pain sorting and an explanation for it to stop you worrying.

Yeh this is what I would like is an explanation for it all it seems to come and go in waves sometimes it's really ache and painful other times it's not to bad it's the numbness that just worries me the most but I think as I have suffered with health anxiety in the past it's all put down to that which is frustrating
