Late diagnosis

 my partner has just been diagnosed..gp refused to see him on their surgery.

but I don't feel its my place to exhibit anger

  • Hello, I am so sorry for you of course you are angry and in fact I am sure there is a protocol about vulnerable patients at the surgery, so do check with the practice manager.  I have recently met a wonderful man and we were very happy planning a future together, when out of the blue he has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.  At this moment we don't know what type it is or how long they think he has.  We are both devastated after finding each other after failed and unhappy past relationships.  You are not alone.

  • He wasn't classed as vulnerable, but asked numerous for a face to face and told no!!!

Haven't even heard from them since...they are just going to get away with it.

I am so sorry for your situation. Please keep talking xx
