Hi,

I believe it's up to the individual person who to tell. I'm going through tests for colorectal cancer at the moment. I'm not telling my young children unless I really need too. I'm such a private person usually but I'm feeling very vulnerable at the moment so do need to talk through my fears. I'm beyond terrified, my telephone appointment in on the 23rd and will probably have an appointment for a colonoscopy thereafter.

Hey, how did the telephone appointment go?? X

I had my app today.  I work at the hospital and occasionally with the breast Dr. so just went totally prepared for the worst.  Thankfully it's just thickening of my breast tissue.  I feel like I haven't been able to breathe due to stress. I had to have 2 mammograms as they wanted to look at something but I guess it was ok. Thank you for asking. I hope the colonoscopy goes ok.  Telephone apps are the worst. Fingers crossed for you.  Please let me know as I will be thinking about you xxx

Aww so pleased your appointment went well.  Think it's the not knowing that's the worse as we always imagine the worse case possible and make ourselves ill with the worry and stress then google everything. Yes I'll let you know once I'm sorted xx
