i had my smear done in November had my results last week saying that it was abnormal (1st one ever to be abnormal) and i would recieve a letter from the hospital for a colposcopy well they rang me friday letter only arrived Thursday, so we arranged for me to go up tomorrow, fast forward to yesterday I had to contact the hospital I have to self isolate due to being around someone who has tested positive, well they tell me on the phone no probelm ect we rearranged well she then says it is an emergency appointment so i now have to go in between christmas and new year so now i'm worrying as i've no idea why it would be classed as an emergency that's all the letter says was that the results come back abnormal, i've tried to speak to my mother but she just says she's had abnormal smears before and its fine but im more concerned about it being an emergency :confused:
