Bowel/liver cancer

Hi

On the 13th November I was in hospital with suspected appendicitis. I had surgery that evening. When I woke up I was shocked to be told that my bowel was blocked and large bowel removed and left with a stoma. I was soo upset then to be told they think it's spread to my liver. I had a CT scan in hospital a few days later where it was confirmed. It hasn't spread anyway else though. I'm home now recovering from the surgery (3 weeks ago). My stoma nurse called me last week after the meeting happened and just said I was having chemo and to wait to hear from my oncologist. I've received a letter and a telephone consultation is booked with her for this Thursday.

Thank you for this forum. It's a god send xxx
