Temperature for months

Hi, has anyone had any outcome from this? I've had temperature up to 38.8 every day now for over 2 months. It can swing from normal to very high throughout the day. I've been quite off balance and sometimes nauseous but not actually been sick. My bloods are normal, I've had multiple negative covid tests and a chest x ray which was all fine (except i've got hyperinflated lungs). The doctors are stumped. I believe I had covid back in May but it's now December and I've only been monitoring my temperature for the past 2 months. I'm getting quite anxious if anyone can help with information ?

  • Hello Chez123a,

Poor you it must be really hard to have to live with a temperature this high for months. Unfortunately no one here will be able to diagnose you. It's good that you have had all these tests and they have come back normal. It's interesting you mentioned that you had covid back in May - this is something you should mention to the doctor if you haven't done so already just in case you are suffering from long term effects of covid, also known as long covid.

It's definitely worth going back to the doctor's and getting this thoroughly investigated. I hope you find out more soon and that your temperature goes back to normal.

    Best wishes,
