  • Hello captainBob,

I just wanted to welcome you to Cancer Chat. Thank you for coming here and introducing yourself. I am sorry to hear about your diagnosis. How did your appointment with the specialist go? Have you found out anything more? I hope you have more answers now that you have spoken to someone.

If you wanted to talk things through with one of our nurses, you can get in touch with them on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their line is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm and they will be happy to answer questions you may have following your appointment with the specialist.

I hope that you have found out more about your treatment plan too. We're all here for you if you want to chat and update us on what they said.

    Best wishes,

    Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator

  • Hi CaptainBob

hope you have had some more info by now, and have something to work with.   We just heard on Friday my mum has also a brain tumour, meningioma, and had the same symptoms as you.   Waiting till Later in week for neurologist meeting to decide on how we go from here... scary times, my head doing somersaults too... I'm right with you!   Like your stay positive but yep, it's hard too..   hang in there, early days..  best wishes.
