Hi all

My gp had me in today to take a look at my cervix she said she will urgently refer me as as vascular cervix and colour off cervix was odd.. now I'm panicking like anything I suffer with bad anxiety about death and struggle to sleep at night due to panic attacks thinking I'm not going to wake up, stupid I know .. has anyone had similar problems I.e vascular cervix etc some advice would be great as I'm going out my mind worrying, been told it's very rare for endometriosis on cervix so wouldn't be that l. • Hi Kezznyous and welcome to the forum.

It can be scary when you find out you've been given an urgent referral but I hope it helps to know that 9 out of 10 people referred this way are not diagnosed with cancer.

Hopefully you'll hear back from some of our members who have had similar issues soon but in the meantime I hope these tips on the NHS Every Mind Matters website will help you manage your anxiety. The charity Anxiety UK may prove useful at this time as well.

Wishing you all the best with your appointment when the time comes.

    Kind regards,
