Breast Clinic Appointment

Hi,

I'm 22 but went to the breast clinic when I was 18 when i found a lump in my right breast turned out to be benign but the whole process was terrifying and I cried the whole time (went by myself as I was at uni far away from home, and thought I was going for an ultrasound but ended up being a biopsy so was totally unprepared).

However I'm going back again on Monday as I have had one lump for two years never been checked and a new lump, so want them both checked out as quarantine has drove me insane thinking the worst about them both.

I was just wondering what it's like to go the clinic during Covid? I'm freaking out.

Thankyou

  • I'm sorry your first experience at the breast clinic wasn't a favourable one _98_It, but hopefully this one will be much better.

Hopefully some of our members who have been to the breast clinic recently will share their experiences with you soon but if you'd like to have a chat with one of our cancer nurses about this, they're available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.

Wishing you all the best for Monday.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
