Breast cancer letter for tests

Hi I had my over 50s mammogram 2 weeks ago and recieved  a letter today saying I have to go back for more tests.

 

im really anxious I suffer anxiety ibs anyway and my brother was found dead last week aged 53 through alcohol addiction but we don't know yet so I'm having a hard time atm anyway 

 

so worried I have breast cancer I'm very top heavy when I had my mammogram the test took 2-3 minutes doing it and I was surprised it was so fast I was in the clinic 5 minutes

    I'm sorry to hear that you've recently lost your brother. I'm sure that receiving this letter on top of everything else has been difficult. 

    It may help you to know that it's not uncommon for women to be recalled after a mammogram, particularly if this was your first. I know that one of our regular members here [@Chriss]‍ has had multiple recalls with nothing to worry about.

    Hi there ...

    Yea please don't panic ... as my first four call backs from mamorgrams over the years were fine... one was like a flat pebble , I was sure that was cancer .. the a round one movable .. fine ... then one that wouldn't move ... it turned out I have lumpy boobs ... 

    Yea my 5th one was positive and that was in 2017 ... had a right masectomy ... and although it was a grade 3 ... I'm still here ... treatment have come a long way ... so let us know how you go ... 8.5 out of ten lumps are benign... fingers crossed ... Chrissie x
