Hi I'm 24 and been suffering on and off for a year mostly been worse for about the last 4 months with constant everyday pain in my chest, arm neck and shoulder blade I had endless chest X-rays ECHO heart scan, heart monitor etc everything came back normal. For the last 3 months I have had constant uncomfortable pains and pressure in my chest under my left breast down my arm and up my neck I'm extremely worried and I have a 4 year old and live in Cardiff on my own while other family live back home (NI ) there is time we're I feel great and don't know when the pain will hit ( lightening bolt feeling through middle of my chest and down my left side under my breast right through into my back) it only lasts a few moments and then goes away and I don't know when the pain will hit again. I'm just wondering has anyone ever experienced anything like this I am currently on steroids and strong pain killers BUT NOTHING takes this pain away when it hits. I be soaking with sweat but trembling (panic attacks ruled out) its the most scary feeling in the world and doctors are still unsure as too what it is which is even more worring as the pain in similar to heart attack pain! I was diagnosed with costochondritis but then was told it wasn't that at all. Was recently told I was low in iron and folic acid but the doc dosnt think it relates to the chest pain. All replies and suggestions needed thank you in advance!
