Just wanting some advice. I have recently received my smear test results which stated that I have tested positive for HPV and also have high grade (severe) dyskaryosis. Went i initially went for my smear, I answered all the questions and told the nurse that I regularly bleed after intercourse so they referred me for a colposcopy straight away. I attended this appointment and at the time they still had not received my smear results. They gave me some diathermy treatment and took a biopsy, especially because I began to bleed when they touched my cervix with a cotton bud!!! I waited four weeks for my smear results and its been another two weeks and im still waiting for the biopsy results. I understand that labs are busy with other things at at moment but im getting really stressed out waiting. I've not only continued to have irregular bleeding but im also having discomfort and discharge too. I've had abnormal cells before and treatment for them but this feels different. Sorry for long post but im getting really anxious now.
