Hi,

posting on here for some reassurance and support. My husband who is 35 has been having unusual symptoms for the last few months. 
He has been smelling a chemical smell that isn't there, no taste with the smell. Not been unwell with this. No weight loss. No headaches, no pain anywhere. (other than a usual headache that we all suffer with) 
I made him call his GP surgery and he spoke to his doctor who was very worried and sent him for some urgent bloods. These bloods included protein electrophoresis and then routine bloods. 
yesterday he got a phone call to say his bloods have shown something...no guidance as to what the results were and my husband was a little shocked to hear there was a concern so didn't ask! 
He now is awaiting a bence Jones urine test. I am aware what all of these are investigating. However, I am a little shocked that his bloods have been elevated as he has had no symptoms of myeloma!!  
Any advice or support appreciated.
