Is cold capping risky?

I am about to start pacitaxol and I have not long got to a point where I feel happy with my hair after loosing it the first time. I worry if I cold cap it will stop the treatment getting to my brain and this could be a problem if there is any spread there. 

What do people know with regards to this?

    I'm sorry to hear that you're feeling concerned about your upcoming treatment. 

    We do have some information about cold capping/scalp cooling on our website here which may offer you some reassurance but I'd suggest giving our team of nurses a call.
